Although Reed Stark has aspirations to eventually make his signature BSD pedal from recycled materials, for now he has settled for making the strongest pedal possible. A stronger pedal keeps riders using them longer and ultimately creates less plastic waste. Part of the Safari pedals longevity comes from the additional corner pins.
