The Chukka Low Sidestripe came to life thanks to the inspiration of classics silhouettes like the Authentic and the Chukka Boot, those inspirations bringing a new aesthetic to this old school skate shoe.
Designed for skate the uppers utilise both sturdy suede and heavyweight canvas, classic materials that offer the ideal balance of boardfeel and durability. Inside the Chukka Low Vans have used their famous Popcush energy return sockliners that provide superior cushioning and impact protection, these help lessen leg fatigue so you can skate longer.
Under that Popcush insole is that iconic waffle patterned gum rubber outsole, it's a classic Van Doren compound made of a rubber that grips and supports. Lastly the Chukka boasts Vans Pro Vulc Lite construction that retains that same vulcanised feel with a lighter, single-wrapped construction to shed some weight.
