Shadow set out to create the most reliable, refined and well functioning cassette hub possible, it's a next level component that's robust enough to take some serious abuse.
Built with a 6061 aluminium hub body with a 14mm nickel chromoly axle and 6mm broach for strength and durability. It features a 1-piece chromoly driver with three sealed bearings, 4 pawls with individual leaf springs for precise engagement so it'll roll for weeks and has consatnt and crisp engagement.
The non-drive side has been optimised for grinding with a cone-integrated guard and short flange.
